Founded in 2009 by Paulo Petter, a local Tanzanian with a passion for wildlife and community development, Pazuri Safari Tanzania has grown from a single-vehicle operation to one of Tanzania's most respected sustainable tourism companies.

Our Journey
From humble beginnings to transforming lives - the Paulo Petter story
Paulo Petter begins his journey in Tanzania, working as a chef at a local camping site and discovering his passion for tourism
Paulo transitions to become a safari guide and uses his salary to build the first basic classrooms for local children
Paulo establishes himself as a professional tourist guide and safari driver, expanding his knowledge of Tanzania's wilderness
The school grows to welcome 45 students as Paulo continues to develop within the tourism industry
Paulo meets Andrea, and together they discover a shared passion for education and Tanzania's future
Paulo and Andrea welcome their first clients as Pazuri Safari Tanzania, officially launching their dream
The school becomes officially registered with over 200 students, marking a major milestone in community impact
Today we celebrate growing visitor numbers joining our family while the school continues to flourish alongside our safari operations
