Creating sustainable tourism that empowers local communities and protects wildlife
We are more than a tourism company. The owners of Pazuri Safari are also the founders of Kilimamoja Hot Spring Pre and Primary School, where we educate more than 360 students, including 180 in our boarding facility.
We firmly believe that tourism revenue should not stay only with companies, but should be distributed throughout the community. Each safari you take not only fills your camera with incredible landscapes, but also your heart with Tanzanian friendships and amazing culture you will discover.
This authentic connection between tourism and education allows us to create genuine experiences while building a better future for our children and communities.
We operate our safaris through experiential tourism via Kipepeo NGO, ensuring 100% of proceeds go directly to our school and community development projects. This transparent approach guarantees every dollar contributes to meaningful change.

The inspiring story of Paulo Petter and the growth of our mission
Paulo began his journey working as a chef in a camping site, where he discovered his passion for tourism and connecting with visitors from around the world.
Paulo became a safari guide and used his salary to build the first basic classrooms, laying the foundation for what would become Kilimamoja School.
Paulo established himself as a professional tourist guide and safari driver, expanding his expertise and building lasting relationships with visitors.
The school welcomed 45 students while Paulo continued to grow within the tourism industry, strengthening his vision of combining tourism with education.
Paulo met Andrea, and they discovered their shared passion for education and Tanzania. Together, they began planning to expand their impact.
Paulo and Andrea welcomed their first clients as Pazuri Safari Tanzania, officially launching their mission to connect tourism with community development.
The school was officially registered with over 200 students, marking a significant milestone in their educational mission and community impact.
Today we celebrate the growing number of visitors joining our family, while the school continues to flourish and expand, creating an even brighter future together.
Be part of a story of real impact. Your safari will not only be an incredible adventure, but also an opportunity to create lasting positive change.
